# privacy policy

This policy explains how we handle personal data on otira.app. Last updated 13 October 2026.

## who we are

otira is a product of **OTIRA LABS LTD**, a company registered in England & Wales (company number 17255799), with its registered office at 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ. For the purposes of UK data protection law, we are the data controller for otira.app.

Questions, or want to exercise your rights? Email us at [privacy@otira.app](mailto:privacy@otira.app).

## what we collect and why

otira is not yet available. This site is a coming-soon page and a blog. There are no forms and no accounts, so we only collect the data below.

**Emails you send us.** If you email us, we use your email address and what you write to reply. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering you.

**Analytics.** If you accept analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used (for example, which pages are visited). This is based on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time. Analytics do not run unless you accept. See our [cookie policy](https://otira.app/cookies) for detail.

**Technical data.** Our host processes limited technical information (such as your IP address and request logs) to serve and secure the site. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in keeping the site available and secure.

## who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We use a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf:

- **Cloudflare** — hosting and content delivery.
- **Google** — analytics, only where you have accepted analytics cookies.

These providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, appropriate safeguards (such as UK adequacy regulations or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement / Addendum) are relied upon.

## how long we keep it

We keep emails you send us for as long as we need them to deal with your message, or until you ask us to delete them. Analytics data is retained for as long as Google Analytics is configured to hold it.

## your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to our use of your personal data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email [privacy@otira.app](mailto:privacy@otira.app).

You also have the right to complain to the UK's data protection regulator, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), at [ico.org.uk](https://ico.org.uk/).

## changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above will always show the current version.
