our approach
We keep this simple. The only cookies otira.app sets are for anonymous analytics, and they run only if you accept them. When you first visit, we ask; if you reject (or ignore the banner), no analytics cookies are set. You can change your choice at any time using the link in the footer.

These are only ever set after you accept. If you never accept, they are never created.
remembering your choice
So we don't ask you on every page, we store your accept/reject choice in your browser's local storage under the key otira-consent. This is not a cookie, stays on your device, and is not shared with anyone. Clearing your browser storage will reset it and we'll ask again.
